Ghulam Ali is one of the most famous Sufi singer world had ever witnessed. He was born in 1940 at the Kaleke village in the district of Sialkot which is in present Pakistan. He received this musical gene from his family as his father was a maestro in sarangi and a vocalist. It was his father who steered the boy towards music in his childhood itself. He was a student of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan who belonged to Patiala Gharana. Under the able guidance of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and his three brothers, Ghulam Ali became a jewel in the world of Sufi Music.

His first appearance in Bollywood came when he gave his voice to a song called “Chupke Chupke Rat DIn” in “Nikaah”. This singer is known for his blending of Gharana skills into Sufi Music.
